Rav Yehoshua Heschel of Monsatristch, Ukraine (the cradle of Chassidus) arrived in Brooklyn, NY in 1923. The Bais Medrash was founded in Brownsville that year.
In 1945 under the leadership of Rav Yitzchak Yoel of Monastristch Nachlas Yehoshua relocated to East Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn.
In 1997, following in the footsteps of its illustrious leaders, Nachlas Yehoshua moved from Canarsie to its current
Avenue M location.

With an exceptional group of Mispalilim, Nachlas Yehoshua continues its rich legacy of Torah, Yiras Shamayim and Midos Tovos.
